We need your support for the Fifth Annual Animal Rescue Kayak and Bike event.
Bluff Point State Park, Groton, CT Saturday, June 21st, 2008, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (rain or shine)
Bring the family for a day at the beach full of fun and prizes! There will be four kayak courses for paddlers of any abillity; and this year will include a mountain bike course.
This kayak and bike event, for paddlers and peddlers, will raise money to supprt our Marine Animal Rescue Program. This program consists of veterinary staff and volunteers who rescue sick or injured seals, sea turtles and other marine animals along our New England coast. But, the cost of caring for one of these animals can be enormous, costing well over $100 a day for food, medicine and care. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the donations made by supporters and participants of the ARK event.
