Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration and Immersion Presents are divisions of Sea Research Foundation, Inc., a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing oceanographic exploration and marine life education, conservation and research.

Directions to the Aquarium

By Car

Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration is located in Mystic just off Interstate 95, Exit 90; about 10 miles east of New London along Connecticut's South Eastern shore.  There are plenty of signs pointing to the Aquarium, once you get off Exit 90.  The Aquarium is located at 55 Coogan Blvd., Mystic, CT.

From New York City and points South:

Take I-95 North to Exit 90 in Connecticut.

Take I-95 South to Exit 90 in Connecticut.

From Hartford, CT.:

1. Route 2 East to Route 11 South
2. Left onto Route 82
3. Right onto Route 85
4. Route 85 to Interstate 95 North.
5. I-95 North to Exit 90
6. Follow the signs to the Aquarium at 55 Coogan Blvd.

By Train

Mystic and New London is served by Amtrak trains running on the Washington-Boston corridor.
