Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration

Three of the Aquarium's resident California sea lions - Coco, Surfer and Boomerang, the playful juvenile - take the stage during daily shows in the Marine Theater. A favorite of all ages, the Marine Theater show is a truly unique opportunity to experience lions of the sea close up and in action!

The half-hour show allows guests to watch these amazing sea lions interact with our trainers and show off the skills, poses and veterinary behaviors they've learned. Meet Coco, the 900-pound sea lion, and observe Boomerang's antics. You may even get the chance to see a sea lion up close, as he comes out of the pool and right in front of the first row of seats!
