Hours of Operation

Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration is open daily, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

November 1-30
Open Daily 9:00am to 5:00pm (last admission at 4:00pm)

Please note the Aquarium's special holiday hours, 9:00am to 6:00pm (last admission at 5:00pm), on the following dates:

Wednesday, November 11
Friday, November 27 - Sunday, November 29
Saturday, December 26 - Sunday, January 3

Seasonal Hours

December 1-February 28
Open Daily 10:00am to 5:00pm (last admission at 4:00pm)

March 1-October 31
Open daily 9:00am to 6:00pm (last admission at 5:00pm)

Store Hours

The store at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration is open daily, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Café Hours

The Penguins Café is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration is located in Mystic just off Exit 90 on Interstate 95, about 10 miles east of New London along Connecticut's southeastern shore.
